  • Daytona 24 review! cheap cash advance loans

    January 27, 2009

    Hi Fans,

Well my Daytona 24 may not have been a successful one in the sense of me driving in the race but it was successful in the area of making contacts and keeping relations open.  It was good to see old friends and meet new ones.  I survived the entire race only sleeping a few hours in my car.  The 22 hours of driving was most definitely worth the effort to be at the races!  Again I can't express the feeling I get being at the races, feeling the atmosphere, smelling the fuel and burning rubber, and seeing the competition heating up!  It makes the hair stand up on my arms and my heart beat increase.  I am looking forward to getting a deal put together for myself and being at the next race of the Grand-Am series at VIR at the end of April.

As for the actual race results the #58 Brumos Porsche took the overall and prototype win while TRG took a one, two with the #67 Porsche 997 winning and the #66 Porsche 997 taking second.  I want to say congratulations to Kevin Buckler and TRG on their amazing performance and thank you for the hospitality as I spent most of my time in their pit watching their big screen TV!

Also need to give thanks to my buddy and fellow driver Eric Powell for letting me crash at his place over the weekend and basically making the trip possible for me!

Stay tuned for the latest news and for sponsorship updates!

    Thanks for your support,

    Seth

  • 24 Hours of Daytona! cheap cash advance loans

    January 23, 2009

Well it has come time for the world renound Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona.  I began my journey down for the race Wednesday afternoon around 2pm when I left my apartment and headed down 95 South towards Florida.  Then 3 pit stops and 742 miles later I arrived at 1am at my buddy Eric's place in Orlando.  Slept a few hours and was up and at the track getting credientials at 9:30 Thursday morning.

Unfortunately this year, I am not racing due to a lack of sponsorship funds but most definetly not from a lack of effort!  So for 2009, I am only here as a spectator and to roam the pits in search of that team in need of an extra driver or replacement.  Lots of familiar faces and long time friends roam the pits and it is always good to catch up with them which I why I love being at the races even when I am not racing!  It never seems to amaze me how racing gets my blood churning and the itch to drive nearly drives me insane!

Yesterday was qualifying for all the classes and a pretty interesting one at that with the #6 Micheal Shank car driven by long time friend Micheal Valiente who was my favorite for the pole feel short leaving the door open for the #58 of David Donohue to step into pole position.  The GT class was an emotional one with the #70 of Sylvain Trembley putting the car to pole on the very last lap.

Today is more practice and the Koni challenge so I will bring an update this evening!

    Thank for all the support,

    Seth

  • Silly Season cheap cash advance loans

    December 1, 2008

Well mid way through the silly season the sponsorship hunt continues.  Working hard with my Manager, Craig Finer, we push to put together a budget to go racing next season!  Training continues as usual and with the add of a new mountain bike will be stepping up a little more!  The itch do be driving right now is almost unbearable!

This time of year though I do have to give thanks for everything I have.  I am thankful for my parents and family who always support me.  My best friend Jared who has stuck by my side.  Also all my other friends who have not gave up on me!  Thankful for my manager Craig who works hard for me and maybe most of all for my health and the God given talent to have an opportunity to race!

This is the first of many blogs and I plan to right weekly if not daily so stay tuned!

    Sincerely,
